Responsive Personnel are looking to recruit a small team of Bakery Assistants, working night shifts in a busy bakery in Swindon SN1 with an aim to start ASAP on a temp to perm basis.
Assisting in all areas of the bakery for the production of quality, artisan doughnuts and other finished goods from start to finish on a rotational basis, you will ensure that all tasks are carried out to the required standards expected by the company and our customers.
Full Training to be provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
* Dough Production
* Frying and Sugaring
* Filling, Decorating & Packing
MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE:
* Follow all Health and Safety Regulations and training given.
* Ensure that all equipment is used in a safe and responsible manner, taking care not to damage company property
* Ensure all cleaning equipment is used effectively, kept tidy, and in the designated areas.
* Clean all equipment after use to the required standard
* Follow chemical safe use guidelines (COSHH)
* Maintain the food hygiene standards and procedures
* Operate within Good Manufacturing Practises, including 'Clean As You Go'
* Work effectively with the Team Leader to ensure that areas are running smoothly during the break time, staff lateness, sickness or absenteeism as required.
* Control wastage and portion control of your designed position on the shift
* Carry out any other duties as deemed reasonable by any member of the Management Team
WORKING HOURS:
* Flexibility required based on the needs of the business week on week
* Wednesday 06.00-Midday
* Thursday and Friday 01.30 - Midday latest finish
* Saturday 01.30 - 08.00
* Sunday 04.30-08.00
PAY RATE:
* GBP10.00 p/h
