Production Controller
Location Telford
Package: Up to GBP32k per annum (depending on experience)
Compressed work weeks so approx. every other Friday off
25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

Our client is a global manufacturing business who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Controller to oversee the success of effective planning to ensure sufficient levels of production and attainment of the site production plan.
The Production Controller will get involved with:
* Reviewing purchase orders for materials and forecasts
* Liaise closely with other internal departments regarding capacity and product availability
* Collaborate on the production of short term and long-term production plans and schedules incorporating information from MRP systems
* Lead daily production meetings and keep abreast of production process and requirements
* Ensure MRP accuracy and manage any shortage risks to avoid down-time within production
* Ensure that BOM's are maintained for accuracy
* Provide production control support for NPI where needed
The Assistant Production Planner will be:
Someone who has experience already in production control, so has had exposure to production planning, raw materials scheduling and MRP. You will be an excellent communicator with a practical and organised, logical approach to help with effective planning.
You might already have experience as a Production Planner / Materials Controller / Production Controller / Production Scheduler / Production Coordinator / Materials Planner or a Supply Chain Coordinator and be looking to move to a supportive, ethical and friendly working environment.
Experience working with MRP/ERP systems and good working knowledge of MS Excel will also be required.
