ur client is seeking a HR Administrator/Officer to join their welcoming and busy team on a permanent basis.

Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week and there will be very occasional travel to other sites. Salary per annum is between GBP22,000 - GBP25,000 depending on experience.

The candidate will need a decent level of competency on MS packages such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel as there will a be a test at interview stage.

Main duties & responsibilities;

Support the HR team by organising disciplinary, grievance, diversity, sickness, maternity and capability issues interviews, hearings and appeals and distributing the appropriate paperwork
Assist in arranging and taking high quality minutes for both Disciplinary and Grievance hearings and appeal meetings
Provide basic, non-complex procedural advice on HR policies and procedures and escalate complex matters where necessary to HR business partners
Develop, manage and maintain workforce information on the People HR system
Maintain online admin systems to support HR processes, such as standard letter templates and forms, recruitment and training records, starters & leavers, and other electronic systems e.g. sickness process
Ensure HR transactions and staff changes are processed on People HR
Provide support in the recruitment and selection process
Produce offer letters, references, right to work checks, DBS checks, occupational health screening, unconditional letters, contracts and equal opportunities statistics
Assist in recruitment campaigns, open days and events
Ensure all staff receive timely induction and provide HR input to the induction process
Deal with routine correspondence telephone enquiries
Undertake HR project work
Update and maintain the HR folder
Liaise with the Finance team on all matters relating to employee remuneration and pension
Ensure appropriate stocks of stationery/ manuals/booklets are maintained in HR at all times
Upload documents onto People HR and file papers to maintain accurate and up to date personal files
