About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a virtual Weight Management Service for a dynamic and inspirational Project Leader. You will be bold and proactive, developing a new team which will share the vison and aspirations of the service and your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the daily operational and business management of the department
Ensure the required capacity for services and that key performance targets are met
Contract performance, reporting and budget management
Support the development and implementation of plans for service improvement
To deputise for the Project Manager as appropriate
Provide operational leadership and management with overall responsibility and
accountability for delivering project outputs and outcomes of the weight management service
Lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that delivery outcomes are achieved
Ensure services are delivered and developed to provide high quality, safe and effective
packages of support that respond to the needs of the client
Play a key part in integrating the service into the wider behaviour change programme across the area
Work with the Project Manager to ensure robust systems are in place in order to monitor and control expenditure across the service
Support the development of business plans and attend training as required
About you
To be successful for the role of Project Leader, you must be / have:
Experience of working in a health and social care environment
Experience of delivering/managing community development/asset based programmes
Previous project and operational management experience
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
A positive and proactive leader with the ability to motivate, engage and support delivery teams to achieve the highest standards and outcomes
Strategic thinker and take action to deal with problems and opportunities
Build strong relationships
Be open and motivated by new ideas and perspective
Have access to a car with a clean drivers licence
About the rewards
For the role of Project Leader there is an excellent salary on offer of GBP30,000 per annum dependent on experience.
