We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to support the university's objectives in delivery of its Procurement Policy. Our ongoing vision is to become more focused, integrated and disciplined leading to the Service becoming a strategic advantage to the University. You will contribute with your strong understanding of the ICT category which support and enable the delivery of UCLan's overall category strategy.
Educated to degree level, you will hold MCIPS membership (or equivalent) and have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders. With experience of negotiating contract and commercial terms, you will have a delivery focus and the ability to understand customer needs. Key skills required for success in this role include the ability to analyse both financial and non-financial information, self-awareness with a drive for constant self- improvement and the ability to understand customer needs and offer innovative ideas.
