Aircraft Cleaner
Red Sky Personnel are recruiting for Cleaning Operatives to join our growing team at Manchester Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a role at the Airport.
Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Operative, your primary responsibility is to work within a team to carry out turnaround cleans, night stop cleans and deep cleans.
Interior Cleaning Operatives:
Removing rubbish from the aircraft and making sure that it is properly disposed of
General cleaning of offices and staff area
Restocking of cleaning vehicles and equipment
Clean interior areas of aircraft cabin including removal of blankets, vacuuming carpets, wipe down equipment and surfaces
Replenish seat pockets with airline material as per customer specification
Clean lavatories, wash basins, surfaces, mirrors and replenish lavatory supplies
Clean and sanitise galleys including mopping floors
Arrange seat belts, placement of headrests, pillows and blankets
Maintain a safe working environment at all times, especially when using equipment and PPE
Exterior Operative:
Working as part of the Technical team to support the on-time delivery of all exterior cleaning and additional technical services within the designated time and to the required standard and satisfaction of the customer.
Restocking of vehicles, supplies and equipment
Complete full exterior washing of aircraft including wet, dry, hand and tech washes to remove stains, dust, soil, carbon, grease or oil deposits
Be proficient in cleaning all aspects of the exterior including wings, belly, wheels etc.
Complete additional works including flight deck technical cleans, carpet fittings, and carpet shampooing
Shifts available:
Interior Cleaning Operative: Nightshift, 1800 - 0600, working 4on - 4off
Interior Cleaning Operative: Nightshift, 2200 - 0600, working 4on - 4off
Exterior Cleaning Operative: Nightshift, 2100 - 0800, working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Exterior Operative/Driver, Nightshift, 2100 - 0800, working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Interior Cleaning Operative: , Nightshift, 2100 - 0800, working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Bowser Driver, Dayshift, 0600 - 1800, working 4on - 4off

Person Specification
No experience is necessary, however ideally you would have commercial cleaning experience
Some positions will require a full UK driving licence
Knowledge of cleaning materials, supplies and COSHH would be preferred
Be flexible with working hours (able to work days, nights & weekends)
Must be hardworking & reliable with an excellent work ethic
Have no unspent criminal convictions - If you are successful at interview, you will be required to apply for a Criminal Record Check
