Must have window fitting experience -
To provide an efficient and effective customer site support service to:
The housebuilders / sites in terms of ensuring that all commissioning, remedial work, and customer care work is carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard and that the services fulfil builders / customers' needs and expectations
It will provide an opportunity to build on-going and professional relationships with site personnel and the dedicated internal customer service liaison, to achieve customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the supply and fit process and provide a first-class aftercare service.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Retrieve job sheets from the head office / depot, daily, showing allocated jobs for the day.
Load vehicle from the head office / depot, daily, with replacement products / parts required for the day's allocated jobs (ensure van is fully stocked with all remedial items as per the van stock sheet).
Travel to site - always driving with due care and attention (in line with the Driving for Work' Policy).
Carry out commissioning (only after installation), as per the job sheet and in line with the commissioning Instructions, on a plot-by-plot basis (completing the BPS site folder with the necessary information).
Carry out any remedial work highlighted by the commissioning inspection whist on site or contact the office to book a re-visit appointment where necessary (keeping the Site Manager informed at all stages).
Carry out customer care remedials (on occupied properties) as per the job sheet, ensuring the customer is contacted prior to arrival - the home is left tidy, and all waste is cleared away and disposed of and the customer is asked to complete a customer satisfaction survey.
Follow all procedures when visiting site and occupied properties - most importantly all Health & Safety related procedures.
Report to the Senior Engineer Manager daily regarding product and service issues.
Work closely with the customer care liaison, updating them daily with information on site progress, changes made to appointments or any service issues.
Maintain effective communication channels with the office and the customer (sites / homeowners).
Establish effective and professional working relationships both internally and externally, ensuring a professional and positive manner is enforced.
Ensure any relevant paperwork is accurate, up to date and returned to the office on time. Ensure all company policies and procedures are always adhered to.
Undertake any relevant training required to fulfil the role or to facilitate the areas where cover is required.
Any other duties which are deemed as necessary to carry out the role.
Assist in other areas of the business as and when required, and if capable to do so (any necessary training would be provided)
