Metering Technician - Water
Slough/Reading area, Thames Valley
GBP12.14 per hour + benefits
Do you like to have fun while you work and experience a variety of environments?
We have an exciting opportunity within our Flowmetering Business Unit, for a Metering Technician. You'll have a 'go-getter' approach to your work and aren't afraid to work with wastewater.
Full training, all tools, Z-Tech van and phone will be provided.
What's involved?
Your standard day will involve maintenance and installation of monitoring equipment. You will assist with fault finding, rectifying faults, testing, installation works, obtaining a safe working environment when working on excavations, chambers or meter replacements.
To be successful you'll need:
* UK driving license
* Willingness to work shift patterns and night shifts as required by the role.
* NRSWA (Operator) and CSCS qualified (preferably)
* EUSR Card (preferably)
* Knowledge and experience of planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
* Basic IT database skills including Excel
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
