An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Buyer based in Cambridgeshire to join a well-established electronics manufacturing client.
As Senior Buyer, Cambridgeshire, you will provide support to the Purchasing Manager in expediting goods, materials, and services to ensure that the company's operational needs are met, along with supporting in procuring materials and services considering price, quality, and delivery to ensure continuity of supply. Other responsibilities include processing customer BoM's onto internal quoting documentation to allow supplier pricing to be collated accurately prior to sales quoting the end customer, ensuring continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations, along with aiding in the assessment and evaluation of suppliers and help undertake performance reviews to manage performance improvement activities
The Senior Buyer, Cambridgeshire, will have purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment and have exposure to or knowledge of electronic components / PCB's.
