Day Services South (based in Broxtowe) 1x 18 hrs pw, 1 x 31 hrs per week

Day Services North (based in Ollerton) 1 x 37 hrs pw, 1 x 28 hrs per week

Day Services North (based in Newark) 1 x 29 hrs per week

Day Services North (based in Worksop) 1 x 18 hrs per week

Day services provide a valuable resource for adults with many different support needs, including older people, people living with dementia, adults with learning disability and/or autism, brain injury, mental health problems, and long-term complex health conditions.

We are looking for highly motivated and confident individuals to join our day services at an exciting time of change and development. You will work as part of a team to achieve the delivery of high quality, strength based and person-centred support to enable individuals to reach their goals and aspirations.

You will need to be well organised, have exceptional communication skills and be a positive role model. You will work well as part of team and have effective relationships with people who uses services, colleagues, carers, other professionals and the wider community. You will also be required to supervise the work of other staff with the allocation of workload, tasks and health and safety functions. You will have a can-do attitude, lead by example, and demonstrate positivity and respect to people who use the services.

Excellent report and recording skills are essential to ensure the delivery of person-centred care and support plans to maximise independence and to give people choice and control over their lives.

You will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle, a taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this. You will also have a minimum of 2 years' experience of working with people with disabilities or in a care setting and hold a social care qualification (NVQ 3, Diploma in Care 4 or equivalent)
