Do you thrive in a fast-paced work environment? Do you enjoy working across a variety of different transformational change projects? Do you like to make a difference? If this sounds like you, then this could be the perfect role for you.

Here at Johnnie Johnson Housing, we’re now looking for a permanent Business Analyst to join our growing team.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll support the delivery of our ‘Customer First’ transformation programme, by helping the business to manage, change and plan our projects in line with our strategic goals.

Working closely with internal colleagues to investigate and understand the needs of departments and the wider business, you’ll identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvements, which delivers an enhanced and improved customer experience.

You will have a passion for data and will use techniques to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes. You’ll work collaboratively with external suppliers to feedback improvements and enhancements into their services, functions or products provided, ensuring they deliver value.

You’ll plan, design, manage and report business process tests and usability evaluations, and consider opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions you made.

So now you’ve heard a bit about the role, let us tell you a bit about the team! It’s important to know who you might be working with, right?

Our Team

It’s a really exciting time to join our close knit team Project Management Team of eight. We’re led by our Transformation Programme Lead and as well as providing support to the organisation, we support each other too. We work hard but we also like to have fun! The wider team is great too, you’ll sit alongside our Communications, Marketing, Digital Engagement and Continuous Improvement Teams and we’ll shortly strengthen this further with the addition of Customer Experience Design. It’s an exciting directorate to be part of!

About You

We like our Business Analysts to bring significant business analysis related experience and be familiar with both Agile and Waterfall project management techniques. You’ll provide knowledge, advice and support to the project team and have experience of delivering process mapping exercises to streamline processes.

We’d like you to have experience of making change happen within organisations using a combination of business modelling, process improvement and process testing. You should have a proven track record of applying thinking, gathering and analysing information using comprehensive tools and techniques and use data to formulate both short-term day to day and long-term strategic plans, identifying and analysing options to assess feasibility and operational tact.

You will be innovative, inspirational, and able to think laterally, looking to the outside for inspiration and being creative in how you develop new solutions, you will be curious about technology and its application to modern services and organisations and be customer focused, driven by the achievement of high standards through outstanding service delivery. You’ll enjoy working at pace, love having accountability and be able to capture and communicate ideas to a wide audience at all levels across the organisation.

And the benefits of working for us?

We’ve adopted a completely agile way of working meaning you can work from home as well as our innovation hub in Cheadle Hulme, as long as our residents and customers are put first. We’ll also give you a degree of flexibility using our ‘My Lifestyle guidelines, meaning you can attend the important things in life. So, whether you’ve got a gym class you’d love to attend, your child’s school play or maybe it’s just that you’ve got a new fridge being delivered, we will work with you to be flexible!

We also offer a fantastic holiday allowance of 33 days per annum (including statutory holidays) which rises to 38 days after 5 years’ service (pro-rata for fixed term contracts). We can offer you a 35-hour working week, an enhanced 5% employer contribution pension scheme and a recognition scheme with both financial and non-financial rewards such as gift vouchers, early finishes or even a later start! There’s loads more fantastic benefits too – you can find out more about these on our careers site!
