Gardener

A Gardener is required to work for a prestigious and established residential developer that have been established for over 80 years. The company are looking for a Gardener to take care and maintain the gardens around the show homes and construction sites gardens. The successful Gardener will be working on developments and sites no more than 1 hour from Hitchin.

Each secure development that the company is carefully selected, and they pride themselves on ensuring every development is thoughtfully planned bearing in mind the surroundings.

This role would present a Gardener with the opportunity to join a stable yet ambitious company that can facilitate a new employee's desire for progression along with the right environment to flourish within. Gardener - Position Overview

* Ensure the grounds around show homes are in presentable order

* Provide a safe, well-maintained, and attractive development

* Maintain pathways, parking areas and green spaces

* Hedge trimming, mowing lawns, strimming, and general garden care

* Liaise with sales team to understand and upkeep of show home gardens

Gardener - Position Requirements

* Experience within a gardening position is essential

* Full UK driving licence

* Knowledge of gardening processes

* Experience working on a new build residential projects desirable

* Happy travelling up to one hour to get to a development

* High attention to detail

* Competence with garden machinery / equipment

Gardener - Position Remuneration

* Salary between GBP23,000 and GBP25,000

* Company van and equipment provided

* Fuel card provided

* 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

* Project locations are one hour from Stevenage

* 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
