TEC Partners are working with an exciting and ambitious biotechnology start-up from the University of Cambridge that is focusing on a scalable cultured meat production system.
Aiming to tackle challenges related to animal farming, sustainability, and health, the company is working on developing an efficient, sustainable, large-scale cultured meat production process that will help to engineer the food of the future.
Their technology focuses on cell-based processes, hardware, software, analytics, and other specialist processes. They are looking for a Cell Culture Scientist/Tissue Engineer to join as a senior member of the team and help to shape the company's direction and lead junior scientists.
Requirements:
- PhD or 5 years of experience in Bioengineering, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields
- Experience in stem cell culture
- Cell differentiation, confocal/fluorescence microscopy, immunostaining, and other molecular biology and analytical techniques experience
- Team leading and laboratory running experience

- Ability to communicate and report scientific data
