The Technical Administrator primarily provides technical administration to the Technical / QA department. In addition, the role supports the QAMs and Technical Manager in terms of KPI reporting, complaints management, document control, QMS management, non-conformances management, product launches, internal specifications, taste panels and HACCP. The Technical Administrator shall also be required to maintain a good working knowledge of quality assurance processes within the factory in order to support the Technical / QA team.
The hours for this role is based on a 40 hour week, working Monday - Friday. with a salary of GBP27,000 per annum.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Organisation, administration and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
Document control of CPNF, CPNP & CPNR files and documents on the QMS.
Issue of all required QMS forms, procedures, records and controlled documents to factory to ensure current versions are in use.
Collation of data and information for customer and internal KPI reports.
Co-ordinating the administration, maintenance (through the Complaint Logs for Factory 1 & Factory 2) and investigation of Newmarket site customer complaints, carrying out complaint trend analysis and updating BU and other relevant departments of the complaints received, trends and investigation outcome.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Food industry experience (or placement) in a Technical / QA role preferable.
Strong computer and administration skills especially Excel (graphs, formulas), power point presentations and word documents.
Good interpersonal skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
LIAISON
Ability to liaise at all levels with CPF site & group employees, supplier technical contacts and contractors.
