Volunteer Car Driver Coordinator:
South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic and professional individual to join our service as a volunteer Car Driver Coordinator.
We are looking for an organised individual to coordinate and lead volunteer car drivers and volunteer groups already established and working with South Central Ambulance Service.
The successful candidates will liaise with drivers on a daily basis, review and update our operating system with availability, and support the planning team with any amendments to ensure we provide an excellent service to our patients.
In addition, you would support with presentations internally & externally for the recruitment and retention of volunteer car drivers, provide training for any new or existing volunteers, along with being responsible for reviewing all mileage claims on a monthly basis.
You will be required to travel within the Thames Valley area to ambulance resource centres along with acute treatments sites to complete spot checks as part of the role
The successful applicants will hold a valued and pivotal position within the Operational team. To be eligible for the role you will need to have the following:
• A full driving licence with no more than 3 points.
• Good time management
• Able to prioritise workload
• A good geographical knowledge
