Pertemps Recruitment (Chesterfield) are now looking to recruit x2 Collection Drivers to work on a Casual/ADHOC basis During Monday to Saturday this will entail collecting parcels/post from designated places and delivering to the Mail Centre, you may also be required to work in the warehouse or delivery platform.
As Collection Driver, your duties will include:
Collect items from the designated locations and load to van
Sort into secured box in van for transportation
Perform appropriate vehicle checks prior to departure
All units to be collected at the scheduled time
Be responsible for the vehicle and collected mail security
Apply all PPE and always follow safety systems
Immediate starts (In completion of clear CRB checks)
Maximum of 5 Points & no major endorsements such as DR10, IN10, CU80, TT99???.
Shift Starts Can Vary Late Morning or afternoons (Must be Flexible)
All shifts are planned 1 week in advance with start & Finish Times, but we may also need to call you last min or the day before if any extra bookings come on.
Pay Rates (Week 0-12wks)
GBP9.50 per hour Monday to Friday
GBP9.50 per hour Saturday
GBP18.49 per hour Sunday/Bank Holiday
Pay Rates (Week 13-26wks)
GBP11.87 per hour Monday to Friday
GBP11.87 per hour Saturday
GBP18.49 per hour Sunday/Bank Holiday
Collection Drivers will need/receive the following:
Qualified driver / driver checks completed
Fully trained on collection activities
Ability to use PDA technology
Mail Security training
All relevant H&S training
