Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional utility company.
They have an immediate requirement for a meter operative on a full-time permanent basis.
The Role:
To visit locations the water market believes to be a vacant or unknown occupiers in the property
To record the occupants details so the site can be claimed as occupied and/or billed to the occupiers details
Collect written and photographic evidence of sites occupation
Make visits to customers identified by the business to encourage payment of debts
Visit businesses where there is a past-due debt and survey for disconnection
Visit locations where the meter hasn t been read and take a meter reading
Process through our internal System (job watch) the result on the visit
Promptly feedback details from debt and meter reading visits
The Package:
Salary of up to GBP22,000 per annum (depending on experience) + GBP12,000 uncapped commission (paid monthly)
Up to 10% employer contribution towards Aviva's Group Personal Pension Plan
Working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm

The Candidate:
Must hold UK driving licence
No previous experience is required as some training will be provided although prior experience in a similar role would be beneficial
Must be happy spending a lot of the day driving and also spending time outdoors
Good customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate clearly with others
Immediate start is available.
