Carpenter needed for Local Authority - Temp to Perm
- Carry out repairs and Maintenance & Improvement work
- 37 Hours - Mon - Fri
- 8am to 4pm Mon to Thurs - 8am to 3.30pm Fri
- Salary GBP22,571 - GBP24,920 - Includes Pension and full holiday - total benefit value GBP33,981
- Must have driving Licence
- Customers are the forefront of the service, and communication is key to run a smooth service. To ensure this, you will liaise with customers to agree suitable appointments, whilst keeping them updated throughout the repair and refurbishment work. in addition to this, you will actively manage stock of parts in your vehicle to ensure efficient completion of work.
- With experience and knowledge of carpentry and joinery, arrange appropriate and value for money resources that are required to complete repairs & maintenance whilst keeping cleaning and removing any waste. You will have practical knowledge of building industry regulations and health & safety, to complete repairs & maintenance tasks, whilst being organised, able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet agreed timescales & targets. You will be tactful and diplomatic whilst working in domestic properties and dealing with residents, including vulnerable people. You can work well on your own, but also team orientated, to work together and flexibly to achieve the service objectives to achieve 'right first time'.
