We qualify our own assessors through our Academy and if you have the right skills and occupational competence, we want to hear from you.

Training

You will be provided with excellent training, leading to the Level 3 Award in Education and Training with Learning and Development.

The training will help you fully transition from an assessor to a teacher, trainer and ultimately, a high-quality coach.

This will include:

•Coaching and mentoring using the GROW model

•The NLP Communication Model

•NLP Representation Systems

•Experiential learning using the LARA model

•Precision Questioning using the NLP meta model

•Dilts' Neurological Levels

For unqualified candidates, this training will begin once you have achieved your assessing qualification with us.

Salary and benefits

You will be provided with a very competitive salary, a range of benefits and an excellent bonus promoting high-performance and quality.

•Level 5 - GBP23,000 - GBP27,000 base, with bonus opportunity

•Level 3 - GBP21,000 - GBP24,000 base, with bonus opportunity

The Role

As a Personal Development Manager (Assessor) you will be responsible for ensuring a caseload of Apprenticeship & Diploma only learners achieve their Health and Social Care qualifications at Level 2 and Level 3 or Levels 2,3,4 and 5 depending on your occupational competence. You will complete both remote (video call) sessions with your learners as well as face to face on site visits when required. Approximately 30% of reviews will be on site, 70% completed remotely from home.

You will deliver progressive teaching, learning and assessment reviews with every learner on your caseload every month using coaching techniques combined with experiential learning to drive sustained changes in their knowledge, skills, and behaviour. (Don't worry if these techniques are new to you, full training will be provided).

You will follow a detailed curriculum approach for each qualification and support, motivate and encourage your learners to achieve their qualifications. You will manage your own diary to ensure you achieve this.

You will work with a maximum caseload of 55 Learners usually within a 30 - 40-mile radius of your home.

Qualifications

Level 3

•Ideally you will possess the relevant D32 / D33, A1, TAQA or equivalent assessing qualification

•Ideally you will possess your H&SC NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

•Minimum of 2 years' experience at senior level in the Health & Social Care Industry

Level 5

•Ideally you will possess the relevant D32 / D33, A1, TAQA or equivalent assessing qualification

•Ideally you will possess your H&SC NVQ Level 5 or equivalent

•Minimum of 2 years' experience at manager level in the Health & Social Care Industry

Additional Information

A laptop, mobile phone and scanner will be provided for you.

You must have your own transport, a Broadband connection at home and car insurance covered by business class. All business mileage and expenses are covered by the company.
