As an IT Capacity and Performance Analyst, you will be focusing on business as usual and project work to improve the overall tech usage across the business, this could include infrastructure changes, migrating to the Cloud or supporting with moving to Nutanix. We are looking for experience or a good understanding of Capacity Management and how it plays into the wider business.

You will be responsible to establish, implement and enforce a Capacity and Availability framework, ensuring IT services and infrastructure meet set standards, ensuring IT infrastructure resources are available and efficiently utilised.

You will analyse IT data to seek any potential issues, ensuring there are no breaches within the business, calculate cost and provide this to different business areas for upcoming projects - ultimately giving the final sign off whether further capacity is required. You will work on a vast number of projects, with around 1-2 new projects weekly to really get stuck into.

Being the governance for projects and third-party stakeholders, you will be confident in pushing back and providing alternative solutions where possible, ensuring cost management is at the forefront.

This is a close-knit team within a large insurance and financial services organisation, you will have the opportunity to collaboratively share knowledge across the team. Due to skill sharing across the team, we would love for you to have a specialised area which you can bring to the team and really put your ideas on the table - but of course, this is not essential as well-rounded IT knowledge would be invaluable!
