Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Contract: Temporary/Supply
Hours: 5 days per week, 8:30 - 3:30 Monday - Friday
Pay: GBP70 - GBP80 per day
TeacherActive are currently recruiting on behalf of a special educational needs school based in Mansfield who are currently looking for an experienced teaching assistant who has previous experience with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
Previous experience with manual handling is required for this post. The students are working on low P levels across KS1 - KS5 and you must be flexible to work with all age groups.
Please note this is a long term position starting in September 2022. Personal care will be required to support the students with toileting. The ideal TA will be NVQ level 3 qualified (or equivalent) and have experience within a specialist setting.
The school are looking for the following:
SEN School experience
PMLD - profound and multiple learning difficulties experience
Comfortable with personal care
Full time commitment
Availability to start ASAP
