The role:
Due to prolonged success and growth within the business, an opportunity has opened up for a Warehouse Team Leaders joining the brand new site in Harlow. The Warehouse Team Leaders role would suit individuals who have experience of managing a team to deliver exceptional service. The large 3PL business holds its staff in extremely high regard, with significant opportunities for promotion, training, multi-skilling all in our brand new, dynamic warehouse in Harlow.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively managing and motivating the team and the shift, engaging colleagues to ensure the best performance
Manage the team to achieve targeted daily and weekly Key Performance Indicators
Ensure department operates in line with all company and customer procedures and requirements relating to Health and Safety
Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to throughout the operation, with exceptional focus on health and safety
Encourage a culture of excellent customer service 'right first time' with the team
Ensure sufficient resource is available in order to meet performance expectations
Responsible for driving high levels of employee engagement
Work closely with the Transport team to ensure that all plans are adhered to
Ensure that any performance, conduct or capability issues are thoroughly investigated and any required resulting actions are completed in a timely manner
The Individual:
An experienced manager or supervisor with customer service in mind as time and volume of work is high.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
Energetic, resilient, and flexible
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
Excellent communication
Works well under tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail and a right first-time approach
Experience time management systems is advantageous
Experience with warehouse KPI management
Experienced being part of a start-up / set up.
Able to work shift work, including weekend working, will be required. The role is an excellent opportunity to join a high profile and challenging operation and should appeal to an individual who can demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and ambition
