Location: Hybrid working with a base location in London, with at least 1 day per week in our London Care Homes.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Job Type: 12 months (FTC)

Your Role
This role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for events planning, coordination and fundraising. We are looking for a talented Engagement Officer to work within the Engagement Team, to design and implement an activity program that supports our residents across our four care homes and help us reach our annual fundraising goals.
This role will be responsible for all activity planning logistics, administration and evaluation for the care activity program. They will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and create exciting engagement opportunities for all our residents living in our homes.
We are looking for a creative, goal orientated individual who thrives in a fast moving, multi-tasking environment, committed to our values and is passionate about making a difference. The successful candidate will have substantial experience of creating an activity programme, as well as having excellent interpersonal and communications skills, plus the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with our care home residents to understand their preferences to develop our activity program
- Monitoring, demonstrating and feeding back the benefits and impact of activities and events on residents
- Promoting and showcasing the various activities and the corresponding impact on residents
- Helping Care scheme residents retain/regain their independence through a resident choice led activity program
- Coordinate and manage event facilitators to deliver C&C activity program, across our four care homes including creative arts, music, performers, fitness, outings guest speakers and more as required support to run events at the care homes.
- Project lead C&C Fundraising program to meet agreed financial goals through the delivery of an annual fundraising campaign
- Engage with our local communities / develop new partnerships including engaging with companies to support them to meet their corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals.
- Identify and research potential funding opportunities including writing and developing compelling cases of support for grant proposals from existing and new funding sources
- Maintain a database of levels of engagement, fundraising, donors and supporters, regularly updating with a high level of accuracy
- Obtain resident feedback through a variety of channels (Resident meetings, feedback forms, resident interviews & surveys)
