An opportunity has arisen to work for an International Trading Company as their Administrator/Secretary on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day admin of the office, working alongside two others. This is an incredibly busy role, with varied admin duties and is a pivotal role for the business. The ability to multi-task is essential, as well as working at a fast pace, with strong communication skills and outstanding attention to detail. Hindi and/or Gujarati languages essential.

Telephone, WhatsApp, and email correspondence with counter parties related to the business (service providers, suppliers, buyers, other parties).
Internal communication and coordination of tasks within different areas in the Group (across different time zones - primarily, Middle/East and Africa).
Operations management - logistics, shipping, and documentation for the Group's mineral trading business, liaising with other stakeholders in the supply chain.
Bookkeeping entries on ERP software daily.
Invoice calculations and generation along with follow up on payments (to be made/received).
Real-time pricing of metals between brokers and clients.
Bank reconciliations.

Administration, invoicing, and bookkeeping. Other general admin. tasks.
Full time office based, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. Must be flexible.

Requirements for the role:

Bachelor's degree is desirable - preferably in management, business, mathematics, or science related degrees.
Knowledge of minerals, metals, mining would be welcomed, but not essential.
Previous job experience to have involved accounting/invoicing/arithmetic skills.
Well versed in general IT, MS Office, no other technical knowledge required - training given on job.
Fast and accurate typing skills and highly efficient multi-tasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written English skills. - Hindi and/or Gujarati is essential.
Ability to work under pressure and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt to different cultures (Central African counter parties on one end, Blue-chip Western customers on the other end).
