Do you enjoy a fast-paced workload where you can use your administration skills to provide excellent customer service? If so, and you are an effective communicator, we have a great opportunity to join our Developer Services team as a Technical Administrator.
If you're used to processing general administration, working on IT systems and MS packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel and enjoy working with people, then we want to hear from you!
This role offers a hybrid of office and home working. We currently do two days at home and three days in the office.
What's the Job?
The Developer Services team is responsible for reviewing new development proposals and helping customers get connected to our supply and sewerage networks. We pride ourselves on delivering a professional, high-quality service to our customers.
As the Technical Administrator, your role will ensure the delivery of an excellent quality of service through numerous communication channels (telephone, letter and email).
Your responsibilities will include administering applications, maintaining an accurate record of all correspondence via our in-house systems, raising work requests and processing payments, refunds and water regulation submissions.
We have an incredible team spirit and work well together to drive great solutions for our customers and the environment.
The Ideal person?
We are looking for someone who can deliver great customer service, have a positive attitude, enthusiasm to learn new skills and the confidence to make decisions using logical and informed judgement.
To be successful in this role you will be a confident communicator and enjoy finding solutions to customer challenges. You will be dealing with a wide range of queries so the ability to absorb lots of information and relay that knowledge is really important.
You'll need to be highly organised and able to prioritise your workload to ensure you deliver an excellent service to all stakeholders.
Ideally, you'll hold a grade C or above in English and maths although this is not essential. You'll be IT literate and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
Benefits for you
* Pension - up to 20% combined contribution
* 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service
* Opportunity to buy and sell up to five days' holiday
* Life assurance (four times your salary)
* Flexible working
* Cashback and discounts from over 1,200 retailers
* Paid volunteering day
* Enhanced maternity leave
* Health and wellbeing programme
* Support from mental health first aiders
