Salary: £44,423 - £47,874 per annum

Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) have achieved unprecedented success and impact in its response to the workforce skills, competence and compliance agenda for the ‘first in a generation’ new nuclear build at Hinkley Point C (HPC).

We are the leading skills delivery partner to the project and work in collaboration with client, contractors, supply chain, industry bodies, local and regional stakeholders and international partners. BTC are now the appointed Managing Agent for the unique Centres of Excellence facilities that support the Tier 1 Mechanical & Electrical contractors (MEHA) as they bring their workforces to HPC and fulfil their contracts to the exacting standards required during the Mechanical & Electrical phase of the build:

• Welding Centre of Excellence
• Electrical Centre of Excellence
• Mechanical Centre of Excellence

This is a truly exciting opportunity and unique to the collaboration between HPC & BTC. We are looking for an exceptional manager to lead and manage the fulfilment of this Managing Agent contract, ensuring this links in with BTC’s quality, safety and growth aspirations. This is an exciting opportunity for you to demonstrate your exceptional stakeholder management (internal and external), employer engagement and wide range of management skills. You will grow and develop in this role as you engage closely with the full breadth of agendas and stakeholders associated with this phase of the HPC build.
