Senior Healthcare Assistant
Our Client's Care Home Based in Windsor are currently looking for full time Senior Care Assistant's to join their friendly team!
Location: Portsmouth
Setting: Care Home, 35 Bedded Home; Dementia, Old Age,
Position: Senior Care Assistant
Hourly Rate: GBP10.50 weekdays, GBP10.80 weekends
Hours: 36 / Alternative weekends
Shifts: 8am - 8pm
A typical day will involve for Senior Care Assistant:
• Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
•Using personal effectiveness and knowledge to contribute to the development and delivery of a high quality, cost effective service.
• As a Senior Carer you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care team. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.
• Attending planned activities: assisting the team, repositioning, providing care as necessary and taking part in day trips outside the home.
• Repositioning residents to ensure they are comfortable and supported
• Admin duties: updating food, fluid and stool charts, supplementary files, daily notes and care plans
Required for Senior Care Assistant Role:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Previous experience within a Residential Care Home as a Senior Carer
You will need to be flexible to work alternative weekend's
