Eventus Recruitment are seeking an Accounts Assistant to provide direct support to a busy Solicitors Accounts department based in York.

Role Responsibilities

You will provide support and assistance to the Accounts department including but not limited to issuing of cheques, daily bank reconciliations, checking of bills, arrange money to be transferred and filing and archiving records. You will be comfortable with inputting transactions onto banking system, posting of 'chits' relating to client account transactions, taking card payments and end of day routines and reports.

Person Specification

You will have good inter-personal skills, previous experience with Microsoft office & Excel. You will be comfortable with communicating with a range of clients via telephone and face-to-face. You will have the ability to work within a team as well as independently, thrive under pressure and be proactive with your workload.
