Operations Manager required for our client - a hotel located in the Betchworth area. Transport will be required due to location.
As Operations Manager you will be supporting the Hotel Manager and ensure the smooth day to day running of all departments, with a bias towards the food and beverage service areas including a busy conference, events and weddings department along with your team, ensuring that guests are provided with the best service.
For the opportunity of Operations Manager previous experience at an operational and managerial level is required from within a 3 or 4 star establishment or similar.
Good management skills are essential along with a sales and standards focus, budgeting, financial and administration skills. You will be responsible for the development, training and supervision of your team to ensure standards are maintained and exceeded and customer expectations.
Duty Management will form part of your duties, along with a hands on approach as well as working closely with other senior management. This role will require that you work 5 days out of 7 on a weekly rota basis. You do need to be hands on.
The salary for Operations Manager is given as GBP30,000 - GBP32,500 / per annum basic / plus incentive scheme. Transport will be required due to location and shifts.
