My client is looking for a motivated and ambitious HSE Officer with a strong operational background including manufacturing or logistics industry experience.
The role:
In this key role you will be able to work with a high degree of autonomy but also effectively as part of a small team, monitoring all aspects of HSE across a multi-site operation to ensure compliance, the achievement of key targets and systems and controls continue to be improved and developed to meet future requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing information, advice and guidance to managers and all staff in all areas of Health and Safety and Environmental compliance.
- Accident and near miss investigation, identify corrective and preventive actions and drive their implementation.
- Recording information and reporting.
- Assess training requirements and where appropriate deliver Health and Safety training.
- Manage and document routine assessments, statutory inspections and employee health monitoring.
- Contribute to the development and rollout of improved processes and procedures for managing HSE thought the organisation.
- PPE checks, provision and records.
- Undertaking a variety of HSE related project work.
Candidate requirements:
We are looking for someone with ideally a degree level qualification, NEBOSH and significant experience who is keen to learn and develop themselves further as well as adding value.
You should be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver projects as well as dealing with the day to day operational requirements of HSE management and development.
You will be able to prioritise your work and be capable of ensuring tasks, cases and projects are completely successfully and effectively.
Some flexibility in working hours may be needed to meet the requirements of the business.
You will enjoy a challenging and varied role with opportunities to develop your capability further
