Data Protection Advisor
Rate GBP29.83 (via Umbrella)
Support the DP team to build, develop and further enhance internal processes and protocols to manage data risk and promote data governance, compliance and assurance. Provide prompt, accurate and up to date advice to projects, initiatives and BAU tasks. Promote and enhance cross-team collaboration to support client s data protection objectives and overall compliance programmes. Undertake and support the organisation in the completion of mandatory compliance activities (e.g., DPIAs, Register of Data Processing Activities). Review and put in place data processing agreements
Skills Required:
Significant practical and advisory experience in the area of European data privacy and a good understanding of the GDPR and its implications, either within a large organisation or having managed a substantiality large volume of personal data.
Project management experience.
Strong stakeholder management skills
Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Skills Preferred:
Experience of contract management for data protection agreements with third parties
Experience Required:
Experience acting as a privacy SME
Experience Preferred:
Experience advising companies on ePrivacy Directive (the cookie law)
Education Required:
Privacy Certification (e.g., CIPP/E)
