Grafters Recruit require 7.5T drivers for our a Major High Street retailer for Home Deliveries for their distribution site in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Please note for this role you hold a C1 (7.5 tonne) category entitlement on their driving licence and ALSO a driver Digi card and Driver CPC
This will be part of a 2-man team completing home deliveries weighing up to 79KG, so candidates will need to be physically fit, and expect full days. Due to the nature of the role the candidate(s) would be required to be in good health and able to carry out manual handling tasks without issue.
You will need to be customer focused and be able to communicate both by phone and face to face. You will work along side different team members on a daily basis to be able to interact well.
Candidates MUST hold a C1 (7.5 tonne) category entitlement on their driving licence and ALSO a driver Digi card and Driver CPC
Candidates will require:
to work effectively as part of a team - role is working as a 2 person crew
• Work safely within the Health, safety environmental guidelines and insist others do the same
• Hold a valid C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence, a valid Digi tachograph card and Driver CPC
A typical day would consist of between 25 and 40 deliveries to customer homes / premises spanning an 11 hour period (typical finish times are around 16:00 to 17:00)
Rates of Pay:
This role will cover 5/7 days with start times starting from 0600. you will need to be able to work at least 1 day of the weekend
Rates of Pay:
GBP13.50 per hours (7 days) - GBP20.25 after 48 hours
To qualify, you will need you have held your 7.5t licence for a minimum of 6 months, hold a valid Driver CPC card and have a digital tacho card. Due to insurance you cannot have more than 6 points only for minor offences only (no DR, CD, IN, TT)
