The Liverpool Empire is a busy venue for live music, comedy and musicals and we're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Back of House Operations team. In this role you'll work as part of our dedicated and friendly maintenance team. As Maintenance Technician, you will work in a team of 2, supporting the venue with day to day maintenance and its infrastructure, reporting to the Back Of House Operations Manager.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building in general and will get involved in tasks such as Fire alarm testing, water testing, testing of sprinkler systems, meter readings, seat checks, plumbing, HVAC, painting and contractors.
We are keen to hear from applicants with previous maintenance experience in a similar role and in particular plumbing and HVAC experience. We are also keen to hear from candidates who have a good eye for detail and the knowledge required to keep the Empire at its best for all of our customers both front of house and back of house.
The hours are 40 hours a week between the times of 08:00-19:00. The salary is: GBP22,000 per annum. Please note this is a Monday to Friday role!
