Overview of the Role & Company:

Due to continued growth and expansion globally, we are looking to appoint a Financial Analyst to work closely with the CFO and other key stakeholders in delivering on its five-year business plan. This Times Top 100 company is on an exciting growth journey with currently just over 300 which is rising to 1000 employees in the next 4 years.

We are looking looking for a commercial Financial Analyst join our client on this exciting opportunity. As a group of recruitment and service businesses, we are looking for a dynamic individual who has both strong technical knowledge and experience as well as great interpersonal capabilities. The successful candidate will play an integral part in the acquisition strategy of the Group whilst also playing a pivotal role in developing a first in class reporting suite.

This is an exciting new role within the Group, which will be highly strategic and instrumental in delivering on the Group's acquisition plans. Working alongside the CFO the role will offer the right candidate invaluable experience and further opportunities will undoubtedly be forthcoming to a successful candidate.

Duties will Include:

Full P&L/BS/CF business forecasting
Cashflow modelling
Business Modelling and MI/FP&A
Complex management / FP&A reporting including Dashboard building and Board Pack preparation
Valuations
Reporting
Buy side M&A advisory
Capital Raising
Integrated three statement modelling
Financial forecast and scenario modelling
Transaction modelling such as valuations and option appraisals
Reviewing financial models for quality sign-off
Developing tactical solutions that automate finance and other operations (e.g. remediation)
Development of data models to support modelling and analytics deliverables
Using visualisation and analytical software (such as Data Rails, Power BI, or Tableau) to drive insights from data to inform client decisions
Whats in your DNA?

A first-class or upper second-class degree in a numerate subject
Strong Excel skills
Ability to describe complex technical issues in a clear and non-technical way
Initiative, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to quickly assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge
Knowledge of financial services products and key concepts
Experience in designing and building financial models using best practice concepts and techniques
Desirable Experience:

Numerate degree and/or recognised finance or accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/CFA or similar)
Completion of a recognised financial modelling course
Experience in writing or reviewing VBA code, Power Query
Softer Skills Required:

Strong analytical and interpretative skills
An understanding of accounting and financial concepts (possibly pursuing ACA/CIMA/CFA)
Data visualisation experience in Power BI stack, QlikView, Tableau or similar
