Electronic Hardware Engineer required by our client an established expert in the telecommunications, digital audio, and video market. They have an outstanding team of bright, innovative engineers, designing and implementing systems for a very wide range of clients across the whole world.
Job Description - Electronic Hardware Engineer
The role includes the design and development of electronic hardware devices from concept to finished product. There is ample opportunity to grow and progress through the business, learning new skills and diversifying in role. The ideal candidate will be innovative yet pragmatic.
We are looking for someone with experience in a minimum of two of the following skills and any amount of desirable experience will enhance the application:
Skills
• Component selection
• Circuit design
• Schematic design and circuit layout
• Firmware coding
• Testing and Troubleshooting
Desirable experience
• Microprocessors (we often use Arm, Microchip PICs, MSP430)
• Software (we usually use DipTrace, IAR Workbench, Atmel/Microchip Studio, MPLABX IDE)
• Interfacing hardware with TCP/IP
• Low power design elements, physically small circuit design
• Version control and GIT-type repositories
