Are you a Transport Administrator / Transport Planner / Transport Coordinator looking to join an exciting, fast paced business for an initial 9-month contract?
A highly reputable designer and supplier of packaging in Bedford a looking for a Transport Planner to join them on a 9 month, maternity cover basis. The employee focused culture is what makes this business stand out, along with the exciting industry and growing industry.
You will be working as part of their close nit Transport team, getting stuck straight into the role with some excellent support around you.
Job Description
Ensure that all orders are delivered on the scheduled days.
Gaining booking details from customers.
Ensure Drivers hours are recorded and maintained.
Ensure efficient and cost-effective use of transport.
Ensure fleet maintenance.Skills
Previous experience in a Transport role / environment.
Strong customer service skills.
Time management.Details
Salary: GBP30,000
Hours: 10am - 7pm (half an hour for lunch)
Bens: 23 days hols + bank hols, free lunch twice a week, 3% employer pension contribution (you can contribute as much as you like)
