Head Chef :
Competitive pay rates : GBP13.75per hour .
Full Time :40 hours per week : No Evenings :
Shift : 7.00am to 18.00hrs
Every other WEEKEND OFF.
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Head Chef to join the team at Fremington Manor, our nursing & residential care home, located in the village of Fremington Barnstaple Devon.

This is an incredibly rewarding role where you can come in and take pride in ensuring nutritious and enjoyable meals are available to all residents at our home.
Key duties for Chefs include:
Preparing and cooking nutritious and varied meals to the standards set out in the Care South catering policy
Supervising and supporting our kitchen staff
Planning meals and consulting with residents, management to ensure that individual dietary needs and preferences are met
Ensuring all health & safety and other relevant legislation is adhered to at all times
Checking and ordering supplies when required
Responsible for catering budget
Our focus is our residents, clients and our people.
About you:
Prior experience in a similar role in a restaurant, care home or other relevant environment
Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 in Food Production (or equivalent) and prepared to undertake level 3
Experience of managing a staff team
Good understanding of health and safety and other current relevant legislation.
Experience of delivering exceptional quality food in high volume
