Our client is an integrated medical communications agency which is seeking a Strategic Planner to join their healthcare advertising team.

They are looking for a strong strategic knowledge and an inquisitive nature to shape, inform and support their clients' global brand strategy. You will challenge thinking and ensure deliverables are strategically relevant, ultimately to drive a positive behaviour change. You will be able to take ownership of projects, providing the multi-disciplinary team with clear and accurate planning support from creative brief through to tactical planning.Our client is an integrated medical communications agency which is seeking a Strategic Planner to join their healthcare advertising team.

*Responsibilities:*

* In concert with the Creative Director, support development of clearly defined creative briefs that contain concise information on the product, audience and strategy
* Work with the broader team to ensure the brand strategy is fully understood and integrated across deliverables (creative, messaging and tactical)
* Develop a deep understanding of client products, therapy areas and commercial strategy and confidently liaise with clients to propose solutions and opportunities
* Develop content and facilitate strategic workshops in partnership with client service and creative teams
* Research and gather data to develop well-informed insights that form the basis of a plan to achieve identified goals
* Work with company tools and methodologies across accounts to ensure a consistent approach to building brands, while remaining flexible to client specific frameworks
* Keep up-to-date with market knowledge (e.g. competitive, technology, events) and proactively advise the client on new issues and the external environment
* Support in new business growth through pitches and identifying opportunities to organically grow existing accounts
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*

* Educated to degree level
* Significant relevant medical communication or agency experience
* Full understanding of industry regulations and guidelines underpinning communications
* Demonstrable track record of building relationships with clients and healthcare professionals
* Broad healthcare professional and patient therapeutic experience with excellent research and analytical abilities
* An excellent communicator, influencer and networker
