About the Role

We now have an opportunity for an experienced HR Co-ordinator to join the Diamond Human Resources Team. The role will be responsible for undertaking the full range of HR administrative activities; supporting the HR Business Partner (HRBP) in providing an effective and efficient service to one of Diamond's Divisions.

This will primarily involve:

  • Being the main point of contact for general HR enquiries from both internal and external customers, providing information and guidance in line with Company guidelines and policies.
  • Processing all HR administration and letters relating to the full employee lifecycle, including but not limited to offer letters and contracts of employment, probation periods, employment changes, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave, references, annual Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) and leavers.
  • Processing leave of absence forms and monitoring absences to ensure adherence to the Sickness Absence Policy and Procedure.
  • Maintaining employee records on the HR System and relevant databases, including Payroll, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Undertaking all pension related administration.
  • Providing support, when required, to colleagues in the Recruitment Team with reviewing JDs, advertising vacancies and arranging interviews.

About You

You will be an organised and detail-oriented individual with the ability to work independently on the administration involved in the full employee lifecycle, with experience gained from working within a fast-paced HR function.

You will demonstrate knowledge / experience in the following areas:

  • Producing offer letters, contracts of employment and other employment particulars to a high standard of accuracy.
  • Administration of sickness absence, maternity and annual appraisal (PDR) processes.
  • Maintaining employee records and databases.
  • Processing payroll and pension information/changes.
  • Arranging interviews and other recruitment and selection activities.
  • Understanding and applying UK employment legislation.
  • Working effectively as part of a team.
  • Managing conflicting priorities.
  • Communicating effectively at all levels of seniority, in writing and orally.
