Full time - Year 4/5Teacher Key Stage 2 - September 2022 Start -

LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Year 4/5 Teacher for a warm and welcoming Primary school in the Rawtenstall area. This new Teacher role is a Full-time temporary position covering 5 days per week, from 08:30-15:30. This role is starting in September 2022 and then is on a ongoing basis until July 2023 for the right candidate.

The school ensures that the education their pupils receive will enable them to achieve their academic potential and progress confidently into the future.

Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience/strong knowledge of teaching KS2 is essential for this position.

The successful applicants must:

• Must have QTS or equivalent• Must have recent relevant experience of teaching KS2 Curriculum• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills• Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills)• Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children.

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:

•Preparing, planning, and delivering high standards of lessons to ensure the continuous development of our pupils•Mark and monitor classwork, alongside setting targets for future progress•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school's practice•Excellent behaviour management skills
