NET Developer
NET Developer - Milton Keynes with Hybrid working - Circa GBP55K plus Bonus Scheme
Robert Walters are working in partnership with a global engagement solution brand and they are looking to appoint a .Net Developer to the team within its Development function. The .Net Engineer will be responsible for the technical design and documentation of our client platforms which must deliver the very best in engagement, performance, and usability. The role requires an extensive knowledge of the Microsoft development stack and technologies that surround and support the .Net framework, with focus on best practice and the latest design patterns.
Responsibilities:
To include, but not be limited to, the following:
Coding complex web based solutions within Visual Studio using C# ASP.Net MVC.
Experience working with an ORM like Entity Framework.
Design, build and maintain SQL Server Databases using SQL .
Knowledge of T-SQL programming and creating stored procedures.
Expert understanding of database design principals.
Interpret business requirements and map to a technical solution.
Adhere to project timelines and budgets.
Follow agreed coding standards and best practices.
Follow recognised web standards for security and resilience.
Provide documentation at all stages of the project delivery to support the build of the solution.
Provide realistic estimates for programming hours for projects and/or tasks, based on information provided by account team.
Actively and positively contribute in meetings that help set the technical direction of the TSG, i.e. standards, processes, strategic initiative, reusability of code.
Support the Business Analyst with appropriate information to identify and document technical aspects of the solution.
Skills:
Coding complex web-based solutions within Visual Studio using C# ASP.Net MVC.
Provide documentation at all stages of the project delivery to support the build of the solution
Unit and System testing of code
Interpret business requirements and map to a technical solution
Good level of understanding in Web services, Unit Testing, SOLID design principles, IOC frameworks and multi-tier client server development
Developing interactive, data driven web sites using C#, ASP.NET MVC v4, v5, Web API and associated products
Developing presentation layers using ASP.NET, HTML 4/5, Angular, JSON, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS
