Role - Patient Service Coordinator role
Location - Based close to Diss, Norfolk
Working hours - 37.5 hours per week - Monday - Sunday - Working to a 2 week rota
Salary Details - GBP18,813 per annum
Capacity of role - Permanent position

Our client who is a well-respected and reputable company is currently recruiting for a Patient Service Coordinator to join their busy team.

Main duties will include -
Making and receiving calls to and from members of the public wishing to make use of their service
Inputting data obtained whilst remaining focussed on the caller.
Dealing with all telephone enquiries and taking messages where needed - This includes talking to patients, relatives and carers, members of the health and social care teams and staffing form the company
Receiving, sorting and screening incoming post, emails and electronic referrals - dealing with routine correspondence and arranging despatch of outgoing post.
Maintaining electronics referrals, notes, discharge letters and ability to work towards and maintain the smooth running of an electronic system.
Sending and scanning any patient related documentation following patient contact.
Inputting patient data onto the computer using inhouse system - training will be provided.
Booking appointments for patients.

Candidate attributes -
• Maintaining confidentially in all matters relating to patients and staff
• To be fully conversant with the Policies and Procedures of the business
• To understand personal responsibility under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
• To report Accidents and Incidents as required by the company
• To attend fire lectures annually and be aware of the policy relating to your work base.
• To attend in-service instruction as required.
• To participate in meetings as appropriate.
• To encourage good working relationships with other members of staff
• To maintain own skill levels and agree development with Line manager
