Salary - GBP20,559.78 plus Veolia benefits
Hours - 41.5 hours per week working on a two week shift rota (Days and Afternoons)
Days 06:00-15:00 Afternoons 15:00-Midnight Mon-Thursday
Days 06:00-14:00 Afternoons 14:00-22:00 on Friday
We are looking for a Recycling Operative to join the team based at our Materials Recovery Facility in Nottinghamshire.
This role offers opportunities for development, including eligibility for LGV apprentice scheme after 6 months.
This position is excellent for an individual looking to enter the waste and recycling world. If you are a team player who is looking to kick-start your career, we want to hear from you!
What will you be doing?
Ensure recycling materials are separated to meet the required standards.
Sort out individual materials on the sorting conveyor.
Ensure the work area is kept in a clean and tidy condition.
Undertake the cleaning duties of the plant.
Provide cover for other positions within the MRF when necessary.
Operate mobile plant and balers when required (following completion of training).
