Training Officer
Zachary Daniels Recruitment is supporting a leading international consumer business in their search to appoint a Training Officer. This is a newly created position to support the rapidly growing Customer Service Team to help drive high standards and an elevated shopping experiences for the consumer.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong Training and Development background to be able to effectively work with stakeholders to identify training needs and suggest effective and relevant solutions. You will be able to add value by addressing issues caused by skills gaps and contribute to the overall success of the function, as well as work with the Management team and HR to ensure succession planning strategies are in place.
Role Responsibilities:
* Manage all on-boarding and on-going training activities for Customer Service staff; including designing, developing, co-ordinating and delivering training.
* Manage a team of Training Co-Ordinator's to ensure all delivery of training is both co-ordinated and facilitated in the best way possible.
* Work with internal stakeholders to develop training materials that are effective to ensure Customer Service Staff are fully trained on all aspects of their role.
* Assist in identifying employee training needs based on an on-going analysis of business needs, career paths and performance reviews.
* Remain up to date with best practise and legislation to ensure all employees have access to equal opportunities via training and development.
* Liaise with Quality and Management to understand trends in concerns, issues or improvement areas and implement training solutions
* Manage and plan training budget whilst looking for productivity opportunities
* Understand Customer Services goals per financial year and suggest training initiatives to best support achievement of these goals.
This is a full time role that is office based.
