Equipment Assistant

The Recruitment Co are looking to recruit Medical Equipment Assistant to work within Sunderland hospital.Job Title - Medical Equipment AssistantPay Per Hour - GBP9.76 - GBP12.78Hours - 20 hours per week; Must be full flexible to work shift pattern between 0800am - 1730pmOverall Job Purpose:? To provide a service to wards and departments within City Hospitals Sunderland and across CHoICE serviced buildings with regards to medical devices, ensuring they are decontaminated, tested and fit for purpose? To collect and deliver medical devices to and from wards and departments? To have a sound knowledge of the medical devices within the Medical Equipment Library? To use knowledge gained to ensure the medical devices are functioning correctly and they are delivered with all accessories attached? To take an active part in decontaminating medical devices? To ensure that the medical devices are serviced and stored safely? To complete relevant documentation and input data into the computer to record departmental activity and to operate the handheld scanners? To enable limited trouble shooting in the ward and department environment.The ideal candidate must have the below experience;

• Basic Numeracy and Literacy Skills
