We are currently recruiting Class 2 delivery drivers for our client based in Kettering. The work is two man crew home delivery for a blue-chip company offering excellent career potential.
Requirements for this role of HGV 2 driver role
* Be able to work a 5 day out of 7 rota pattern, fixed rotas can also be provided
* Have excellent customer service & communication skills
* Be able to deliver items into customers homes & businesses. Heavy lifting involved but equipment is provided
Excellent rates of pay
* Rate of pay is GBP15.00 per hour PAYE plus holiday accrual
* Permanent starting salary up to GBP36,500 + bonus + holiday + benefits
Duties include
Driving a LGV Class 2 vehicle, working with a drivers mate carrying out room of choice deliveries of goods to customers' homes. Heavy lifting is involved. Shifts start at 0600 and last approximately 10 hours job and finish.
The must haves
* A valid license to drive Class 2 (cat C) vehicles or above. Minimum 3 months experience preferred
* An in date digital tachograph & CPC card
* No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements (DD, IN, TT etc)
* This is a customer facing role, so presentation and a good attitude are essential
