Laboratory Technician - Agricultural and Related Sciences

Grade 6 GBP26,341 - GBP31,496 dependant on qualifications/experience
We are seeking an experienced, flexible, self-motivated professional to join our small laboratory team. This rewarding role supports the delivery of practical teaching and research. The post holder will be required to work collaboratively across specialisms including crops, animal microbiology, soil, plant, water and food waste analyses.
Applying a "can do" approach to tasks, you will utilise your scientific skills to support student learning and assist academic colleagues with research and consultancy work.
With a relevant science degree or technical qualification you must have a commitment to learning, teaching and research, ideally gained in a relevant higher education or industrial organisation. An understanding of relevant safety and environmental compliance is equally important.
