The Role
Are you committed to providing excellent services to children and families?An exciting opportunity has arisen for a manager to lead Newcastle's integrated Youth Justice Service.The council are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed leader who has a clear vision to promote child first principles. You will have experience of delivering statutory youth justice work with a proven track record of managing and delivering high quality services.You will have a comprehensive understanding of the Youth Justice System and associated legislation i.e. Crime & Disorder Act 199, The Children Act 1989 and all associated Guidance and Regulations that apply to children.Why Newcastle?Newcastle Youth Justice Service is a high performing service that has received positive feedback in January 2022 by HMIP following a pilot Education, Training, Employment thematic.
