Materials Planner

Salary: GBP26,000 to GBP31,000 DOE.
Have you used systems MRP/ERP? Strong customer service/Administration and competent in Microsoft Office Programs? Then this could be the job for you.
Our client is looking for a Materials Planner to join their Stores team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Handle, identify and sort incoming requisitions accordingly using MRP
* Re-prioritise work continually to ensure urgent deadlines are met
* Ensure urgent orders are delivered on time, chasing suppliers for any orders that have not been fulfilled.
* Demonstrate excellent levels of customer service to internal departments
* Specifically mention raising Purchase orders in an ERP/MRP system
Qualifications and experience:
* A strong, confident telephone manner
* Good written and verbal English skills
* Competent in all Microsoft Office programs
* Excel skills - ideally the ability to use pivot tables however this is not essential
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
* Ideally have experience of SAP or a similar ERP/MRP system
* Problem solving to resolve late supplier deliveries
