Sproughton CofE Primary School have a new and exciting opportunity available for a School Office Manager to join the team based in Ipswich from the 1st of September 2022 (or earlier). You will join us on a part time, permanent basis working 31.25 hours per week, 40 weeks per year and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP23,484 - GBP27,514 pro rata.
About the role:
As our School Office Manager, you will have full responsibility for managing the general operation of the school office and its business and administrative functions. Reporting to the headteacher, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to all members of our school community, building strong working relationships with our staff team and our families.
Your responsibilities as our School Office Manager will include:
Financial management administration
Human resources administration
Facilities management administration
Reception duties
PA support to the leadership team
Ensuring the office function provides a quality service and runs efficiently
Planning, developing, and monitoring whole school systems, procedures and policies
What we are looking for in our School Office Manager:
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Office management and administration experience or similar
Excellent organisational skills
The ability to be flexible and adapt to multiple tasks
